My first day of school had finally arrived. As I waited at the front door, waiting for Mom and Dad to finish getting dressed, I couldn't stop jumping with excitement. I moved in little circles, feeling as if my uniform was too large for me, the skirt swishing. Pencils, a brand-new notepad, a lunchbox with my favorite unicorn, and anything else I may need were all in my too-heavy bag. I was prepared.
