Julia knew as soon as she looked at her phone that Marcus knew what was happening to her. As much as she wished she could hide, when she slowly turned her head to the camera, she knew she could not. His request to the press and the public was to direct all questions to his company and him. Both the reporter and her cameraman would likely lose their jobs. In fact, it was probably already in the works. Marcus often worked quickly like that, and the easygoing smile on the reporter would soon diminish because she wanted to pursue a scoop.
