“You’re finally giving a sincere smile, now.” Zachariah said as the pair leaned against the red brick wall of the prison just outside the entrance. “It’s only been two months since the divorce, but completing those papers must have lifted the world off your shoulders. Sorry we really haven’t talked lately.”
“You’re busy with school, so it’s fine.” Julia replied with a shrug. “I’m surprised. You didn’t get as angry as I thought you would.”
Julia tried her best to change the subject from his schooling. Of course, she understood he wanted to graduate and find a career for himself, but she missed him.
