The plan had gone off without a hitch, just like their not-wedding, Zachariah thought with a smug grin. Julia was clueless to what was going on, and sat looking towards the window, unable to see. This was all to see her smile, and he knew the moment he saw it, his heart would act up. The vacation to the Bahamas his brother gave them was starting a month early. Zachariah had to add some money to it, but he wanted to give his wife four weeks’ worth of his full attention.
