The Prophecy of the Forbidden Love

Chapter 1

P.O.V: Jasmine

"You look beautiful princess," my dad says. My dad is the Alpha of the DarkClaw pack. I don't have any siblings so I am the next Alpha of my Pack. "are you okay honey" my dad asked. I smile and nod, " yeah dad I just need a minute" He nods in response and leaves. Today is my 18th birthday. I have been waiting for this day my whole life. I was told that I was going to be the alpha child that will take on the prophecy."The only child of the Alpha must find their forbidden mate before their 22nd birthday. If this does not happen Vampires will take over and make Werewolves all over the world extent, only the forbidden love can reverse the prophecy"  I always wonder what the prophecy meant by forbidden love. The only hated mates were if a Werewolves was mated to a Witches and Vampires but that hasn't happened in a 1,000 years and never in the DarkClaw Pack. So no-one really knows what the prophecy means by forbidden love.

I hear a knock on the door that knocks me out of thought and I hear my aunt Sarah outside the door, " Jas you in here." I smiled at the thought of my aunt, she was the closest family I had to a mom. I open the door and pull her in and into a hug, we hug and laugh for a minute then she stepped back to take a look at my birthday dress and turned me around and smiled at me. "you look just like your mom" at the thought of my mom I start to tear up my aunt must-have noticed and pulled me into a tight hug and I let all my tears fall. I think about my mom how she wasn't going to be here for my 18th birthday or me finding my mate and reversing the prophecy.

All the memories of the day I found out she was dead hit me. I was out with my dad getting ice cream because I just had 2 teeth pulled we were in the park when my dad got the call. My mom had left the border to go see an old friend she was about a mile away from the border when 2 Vampires came out of nowhere and attacked her she tried to fight him off but she was alone, and there was two of them when the pack found her she was almost died and told them how many and who they were. So we searched for the Vampires who did this and only found one. My dad was furious and ready to tear him to shreds but asked him why he did this to his mate. He said, "my master made me" before my dad tore his head off and set the body on fire.

I snap out of thought when I heard my aunt yell, "STOP JAS! You're hurting me." I noticed that my face was hot and I had a tight grip around my aunt using my alpha strength. I instantly let go and apologize to my aunt she laughed rubbing ur sides where I was holding," your okay, at least we know you know how to use you alpha power... but we got to go to the party we have 30 minutes before midnight and people still want to talk to you" she says and grabs my hand and drags me downstairs to the party where I meant my father and 4 other alphas talking. I hugged my dad and greeted the Alpha. My dad invited all the packs that we work aside with so I can find my mate tonight. so we can start our training to defeat the vampires.

It was 5 minutes until midnight and my dad brought me on stage with my dragon fluffy he was a beautiful blue silver bearded moon dragon he doesn't like most people but acts like a puppy when he likes someone and trusts them. I get on my knees and fluffy raps around me I hear my dad say " tonight is the night everything changes for the good and I'm proud to say my daughter is about to shift and find her mate now if you will help me count down" and I hear the start of the count down 10... 9... I feel my body burn with heat like fire. 8... 7... Hair starts to grow all over my body. 6... 5... I hear a scream of pain in my chest. 4... 3... 2.... Then everything goes black.
