The Reclaimers were all issued with bright yellow sashes so they could identify each other and they had been told what was needed to be done, but not how to do it as a unit, and so Redchurch was soon being pillaged by a dissolute band of ruffians, especially as the farming community seemed completely defenceless. About two thirds of Redchurch had been grilled when the Reclaimers approached Quakers Farm, a large house at the top of a hill.
