Flashes of Red and Green could be seen on all three floors of the Trade headquarters, while smoke belched from the window nearest the entrance.
At the gate, Rickenbacker and Spicer could see dead Trade soldiers in the guard hut. Three replacements in bottle green uniforms ensured nobody asked any questions.
“So this is how you got in when you snatched the Gargoyle Key?” Spicer triple-checked as they stood at the perimeter fence.
“Yes, but I had more Wonder, more power then. And I didn’t actually enter myself,” Rickenbacker replied as he measured out Wonder from different vials from his bag.
