I wonder if we can make a game of this, see who can kill the most idiots who get in our way while we leave, or will they think I'm too morbid? Zephirah is the one I'm worried about the most, she's never seen this side of me. Void and Emmeranne haven't but they know I have it. Artemis and I grew up together, she's seen that side of me before so I'm not worried about her. She has one too. Void has a dark side no one wants to come out and play due to the destructive nature and sheer amount of rage he has boiling inside, and Emm can burn bridges and buildings as necessary. I almost felt pity towards those who are going to get in our way.
My siblings and I stepped out of my room and turned left. The hallway, waiting room and nurses desk were pretty basic in that the hallway to our left was painted off white with grey trim, the nurses staion in front of us and slightly to the left againts the oposite wall was also white and had grey counter tops to match the walls and trim. The waiting room to the right was at the dead end hallway in front of a section of windows overlooking the parking lot with grey couches and matching chairs with cream colored side tables and a darker grey coffee table. No one else was here. All the other rooms down this way were empty. So was the hallway and the nurses station. That song on social media that went, 'don't be suspicious, don't be suspicous' played in my head. I heard a couple of snickers from Artemis, she was listening in inside my head it seems. It looked like we were on the 3rd or 4th floor. From there I peeked at fences with barbed wire on top and guard towers. No doubt there would be snipers hidden on roofs all over the base.
Focusing back on the task at hand I looked to my siblings. "Have y'all figured anything out yet or are we just winging it and hoping we don't die?" I ask.
"Yeah, calm your thoughts, I know that'll be either really difficult for you or really easy. You know, cuz you're empty headed but still over think everything." replies Emm with a sarcastic smile on her face. I stick my tongue out at her, still choosing to be semi-adult like. "Don't think too much. Just listen to the others in your head. Think of it as D.I.D. You currently have 2 other voices in your head that are going to talk to you and drive you crazy. It took us a few days to get the hang of it and setting up seperate mental 'spaces' for them to be instead of directly at the fore-front being bossy and annoying." She cringes as she finishes and starts to rub her temples. "f**k, they did not like that last part."
I thought about what she said in the limited and dwindling time we had left before the group of soldiers came around the corner. I could hear them getting closer. It then occured to me that I could hear a knocking like sound going on in my head. So, I went quiet, closed my eyes and pictured a door. I went up and looked through the peep hole, I saw a hooded figure and....holy s**t. That is the biggest creature I have ever seen. I opened the door and stared at the 2 of them. I turned my attention to the hooded figure. Standing at 7'6" tall, not including his platform s**t-kicker boots, His entirely black clothing that consisted of black cargo pants tucked into his boots, and a black hooded cloak that had sleeves. It looked a little tattered in places but was still in good condition. The hood was up and it looked like there was nothing inside. He was muscled like he worked out all the time.Wide shoulders, arms so big his bicep was bigger than my head. Broad chest that tappered into a trim waist. I couldn't see any abs because his cloak was a bit big and looked like it was kind of floating a bit in places.
After my assesment of Gigantor I turned to look at the other one. Yeah again, holy s**t. I knew what he was. I chose him when the God of the Dead asked which creature I wanted to pair with. I had chosen a Hellhound named Havoc. The God was appalled that I would have chosen a decendant of Fenrir. Said something along the lines of being little more than beasts. I didn't care, he was beautiful. I also had a feeling he could be a big 'ole puppy when he wanted to. He stood at 10' and 5" tall with massive paws and claws to match his size. He had a black coat that was soft looking, as the fur got closer to his body it turned into smoldering embers. Like when a campfire starts to die but still has some life in it. His eyes were black around the edges, but had literal flames in his center irises. Behind the 2 of them was just white. Nothing else.
"The 7' giant stepped foreward, "You're going to need us in a few moments. I am Death, this is Havoc, we are the other halves of you. We don't have much time left now, think of the half that you want or need and we will come foreward." his voice is a growl that went straight to my c**t and goosebumps erupted all over my body. I left my meditative space for the real world and noticed my sibling staring at me.
"Death says it's time to kick some ass." I say with a feral smile on my face. They all smile back the same way just as the group of solders round the corner and come to a complete halt, staring at the 5 of us. This is gonna be fun.
