Gianni was furious and in a foul mood when he heard of the arrest of two of the younger members of the family clan. “How the f**k did Brando and Carlino let themselves get caught? I thought they could handle themselves! I’ll have to speak to the Capo Crimine about this. Our phone line may have been compromised. Let everybody know that the security code on our phones needs re-scrambling.” He threw the phone on the desk in obvious disgust.
Events did not seem to be going their way, recently. The failure to kill the CIA woman, the loss of forty kilos of cocaine and now, this.
