Chapter 25 Rayna They called us in with three words. "Sanaron. Black. Enter." I stood up too fast. My knees wobbled. Miron's hand hovered near my back for half a second, then dropped, like he remembered we were being watch. The double doors slid open without anyone touching them. The Council chamber was colder than I expected. Not temperature cold. Just… still. The air felt heavy, like every sound hit a wall and dropped straight down. The room was circular, tiered.
