Watching Kat in Uncle James' lap was hard because I knew that he was on the verge of a breakdown due to coming to terms with Kat growing up. I don't know what to do about it because I respect him so much as a fatherly figure in my life. But on the flip side I could never give up Kat as my mate. She is perfect in every way down to her crazy coffee habits. I've been in love with her for as long as I can remember. Though this is a mess. I wanted to take things slow and let everyone adjust to the idea of us together. Including Katerina herself. As I watch her Father calm down a bit and the tension falls from his shoulders some. She places a small kiss on his cheek and crawls out of his lap telling him that she loves him. He smiles so brightly at her words and then his eyes meet mine
