Standing at the front of the ceremonial chamber, the weight of tradition rested firmly on my shoulders. The massive space hummed with energy, as wolves from every rank murmured their excitement. My wolf, Logan, paced restlessly in my mind, pleased and proud that Aurora was here beside me, even though we kept the proper distance between us.
"Tonight," I began, letting my voice carry over the gathered crowd, "we honor tradition by preparing for the Shadow Warriors' Hunt. This year, we do so with our future Luna, Aurora Silver, joining us for the first time."
