Aurora’s message popped up on my phone just as I was about to review the latest Silver Moon Pack reports. Her timing was suspicious, as always, but I couldn’t ignore anything from her. The content of the message? Even more intriguing.
“Did you receive the ‘gift’ I sent with Mark? What do you think?”
A gift? I frowned, tapping my nails lightly on the armrest of my chair. The term “gift” from Aurora could mean a variety of things, most of which came with underlying motives. I wasn’t naïve enough to think this was a simple gesture of goodwill.
