I smoothed down the fabric of the sleek black dress for what felt like the hundredth time, staring at my reflection in the full-length mirror. My silver hair cascaded in soft waves, catching the light and framing my face. The dress hugged me just enough to feel bold but not overly daring.
"This is it," I murmured to myself, straightening my posture.
For the first time, I was venturing into uncharted territory—not as a pack leader, not out of duty, but as someone trying to ask for a date. Until now, I had never initiated anything like this with anyone. Yet, here I was, determined and nervous all at once.
