Once upon a time, in a forgotten corner of a small village, there was an old and abandoned house. The locals whispered that the house was cursed. It had been unoccupied for years, and the overgrown weeds surrounding the house added to the eerie feeling of dread. However, one day, a family moved in - a father, mother, and their two children. The villagers had warned them, but they didn't believe the rumours.After a few weeks, strange things started happening in the house. At night, the family could hear footsteps and doors creaking. Sometimes they would hear whispering, but when they looked, no one was there. The mother found her kitchen utensils rearranged in strange patterns. The father noticed that his tools went missing and returned in odd places. The children were too scared to go to their bedrooms, so they slept with their parents.One night, the parents woke up to the sound of their children laughing. They went to check but found that the children were fast asleep. They shut their door and went back to bed. But soon after, their bedroom door slammed shut. They heard a voice whisper, "I've come for you." Then it was complete silence.The next day, the mother started to search for the source of the whispers. She followed them and ended up in the attic. There she found an old diary that had belonged to a witch who had lived in the house before it was abandoned. The diary was filled with spells and hexes that the witch had performed on the villagers, but they had sealed her in the attic and left her there to die.

The family realized that the witch's curse had not ended when she died. They immediately left the house with the diary in tow. The villagers congratulated them on their escape, for they knew that the family was lucky they had gotten out before the witch got them. The house remains abandoned to this day, and the villagers are hesitant to enter. They tell the story of the family who moved in and the horrors they faced at the hands of the witch. They warn their children never to go near that cursed house, lest they too fall under the witch's spell.
