My hands wouldn’t stop shaking on the drive over. I tried to hide it by clenching the steering wheel until my knuckles turned white, but Marcus noticed anyway. Thankfully, he didn’t say a word. My nerves were shot. I was about to tell my parents my big secret, and I had no idea how they would react. Marcus had been angry, and I was pretty sure he was still upset with me. But he hid it well.
