Elena’s POV Just those words turned my misery into excitement. “Of course!” I laughed happily, leaning in to kiss his cheek warmly. I leaned closer to the mirror and carefully applied brownish-red lipstick before putting my things back in my pouch. I was inside the restaurant where Jax and I had agreed to meet. We were supposed to meet at eight for our dinner date. It was now fifteen minutes past, and he still hadn’t arrived. So I sent him a text. Elena: Traffic? I’m here.
