Elena POV
My fingers curled into Jax's hair as a sound I barely recognized as my own voice escaped me. The two of us had ended up in a hotel room I'd booked on impulse, gold light spilling warm across the sheets.
His hand moved over my chest like he was memorizing the shape of me, unhurried, patient, and all I could do was stare up at the domed ceiling and let myself feel every second of it.
"You like that?" He hovered above me, close enough that I could count his eyelashes, his gaze doing something dangerous to my composure. Whatever was written in those eyes, hunger, tenderness, something I couldn't name made me feel like the only woman who'd ever mattered to him. I should've felt exposed lying bare beneath him. Instead I felt powerful.
"Yes" The word broke apart the instant his fingers found exactly where I needed them, slow at first, building into something relentless. My hips rose to match his rhythm without permission, his name spilling from me over and over, chasing a feeling I couldn't yet put a name to.
"I'm going in now," he murmured, voice dropped low and rough, withdrawing his hand. Disappointment lasted only a heartbeat before shock replaced it entirely. The stretch of him inside me pulled a gasp straight out of my throat, my whole body tensing around the sting. A single tear slipped free before I could stop it. "f**k. You've never done this before." He said it like a discovery, and somehow the surprise in his voice made the moment hotter instead of humiliating.
"I can still keep up," I whispered, arms locking around him despite the ache. He began to move, slow and deliberate at first, and the room filled with nothing but our uneven breathing and half-formed sounds neither of us tried to contain.
The pain faded gradually, replaced by something my body chased on its own, matching every thrust until instinct took over completely.
"Elena" His voice cracked against my ear, ragged.
"Jax," I gasped back, nails carving crescents into his shoulders as he moved faster. "I think I'm " The rest dissolved into a moan as everything crested at once, warmth flooding through me while he collapsed against my neck, both of us slick with sweat and struggling for air.
His chest rose and fell hard against mine, his grip tightening around my wrists like he was grounding himself.
"Christ," he breathed against my skin. "Why does something forbidden have to feel this good?”
