But… I was cursed, and maybe I brought that bad luck.
Tears formed in my eyes, and soon my shoulders shook with sobs.
It had all been so well-planned. It seemed perfect. I was about to marry Elena and build a complete family with her. It was a new dream I desperately wanted, and it was finally coming true because of Elena’s pregnancy.
But now…
I was in despair and kept asking why and when this would end. When would this curse stop? How many things did I need to let go of to be happy? How long would I be tormented?
I tightened my fist in frustration.
The Oracle approached to comfort me, but I angrily avoided him and told him off. I wiped my tears before looking up to meet the Oracle’s eyes. He stood a few meters away.
“Who is the person I’ll lose after my child?” I asked
