Elena’s POV “You always say you’ll explain, but you never do, Jax!” I shifted my gaze to him. My voice cracked as tears spilled down my cheeks. I wiped them away quickly, refusing to show weakness. Why does it feel like I’ll never run out of tears? I went to sleep with dried tears last night, and now another flood is coming. “Was she the reason you missed our date last night? This woman?!” my eyes darkened. The next thing I knew, I was yanking Meredith’s hair as hard as I could. Meredith screamed in pain, but I only felt satisfaction. This was for everything she had put me through. This was for the trauma she caused at work and for flirting with Jax! “Ouch! You freak! What the hell!” The older woman’s loud cries echoed through the public space. People were probably staring in shock.
