Jax’s POV I had been sleeping in our hotel room after a long day when I heard Fenrir my wolf calling my name repeatedly. ‘She needs help,’ he urged, trying to pull me from deep sleep. ‘Jax, wake up… you have to help her,’ he repeated. Slowly I opened my eyes and looked around. My hand pressed against my chest it was pounding harder than usual, something that rarely happened since I had trained myself to stay calm. I glanced to the side and realized Elena wasn’t there.
