Elena’s POV
“Hey, I’ve been thinking maybe we can swim and get a closer look at the beach once we reach our room. I’m so excited to ” l stopped abruptly when l realized Jax was no longer behind me.
He was supposed to be following with the luggage, but l couldn’t see him anywhere!
I turned my head in every direction, searching for him in a rising panic that he might have gotten lost.
“Jax?” l called out, my voice growing louder with each attempt.
A familiar figure a short distance away caught my eye. Two pieces of luggage lay on the ground nearby. It was definitely Jax and he was gripping an unknown woman’s arms while leaning his head on her shoulder.
My eyebrows knitted together and my eyes burned with anger.
It felt like catching my boyfriend in the act of cheating!
