CHAPTER SIXTEEN
Heading back to the Valley of The Sun, I once again take the two lane road heading north. I don’t get that much of a chance to drive the dips anymore, so I have to take my shot when opportunity knocks. My internal message tape plays a word of warning. "If you’re heading down this way, or for that matter any road across the desert, and you drive down in dips or washes, be certain you look both ways. You'll get the surprise of your life if you see a wall of water coming straight at you out of a bone dry desert.”
