Three years later.
"Baby, I love it here!" Lily screeched, excited as they checked the giant mansion that would be their new home. "Let's hurry up and pay right now. Your mom really referred a lovely place for us!"
Brad stood there proud of himself. "Yea, it's alright. I'm just glad you like it, baby." He walked over to her, pulled her closer and leaned in for a kiss. Lily wrapped her arms around his neck, pressing her boobs to his chest. When he pulled free, a wild grin rested on his face.
"Come on, pay to the agent and let's move in right away. Oh, I can't wait to feel you in me, right on that new bedroom of ours." She moaned as she bit her lips.
A young lady behind them cleared her throat to let them know she was still around. She was the agent who brought them to check the house.
Brad found her cough a bit disrespectful but he shrugged it off. "We want this one. Let's get the payment preparation ready." He said gruffly.
"Yes sir. Uh, excuse me sir, I have to pick this." The lady's voice was firm. She reached for her phone and quickly excused herself to pick the call. A while later, she came back. "Oh I am so sorry about that--"
Unknowingly to the lady, Brad was already fuming with rage. "Get out! I will report you to your f*****g boss! How dare you try to walk out on us while we were still talking to you!"
Lily stepped forward, "just calm down, baby." Then she turned to the lady, "look what your stupidity has caused, huh? You moron! Just hurry up and get us the account details so that we can pay and you can leave!"
The lady blinked, completely confused. She didn't understand why they were being so rude to her. But she cleared her throat to give her announcement, "I'm sorry, but my boss has changed her mind. She's not willing to sell to you, so you two, get lost please."
Brad raged out. "Huh! How dare you and your f*****g boss! Do you know who I am? I am a f*****g Cambridge! Brad Cambridge!"
The lady ignored and walked away, "I think I need to get the security on this one," she muttered as she walked out.
Lily hurried after the agent, "wait! Who the hell is your boss? Why did she cancel all of a sudden? We want this house and that's final."
"You'd have to speak to my boss because this is above me." The lady explained patiently.
Brad was beside them now. "Who the hell is your boss! I would like to speak to her right now! This house was referred to by my mother, Maria Cambridge!"
"I don't have a say in this. But I will call my boss now to know if she would like to speak to you or not." She said, then brought out her phone before anyone could say anything and dialed the number.
Alison was standing tall with her hands on her hips, looking straight at the camera as people around her hyped her with praises. But she knew no amount of that could make her feel comfortable!
"That's right! You look gorgeous, my dear." Celine, a middle aged pretty woman who was Alison's manager said with a big cheery smile on her face. "These photos are what will spell out your name boldly, they'll say 'Ally F. Rose has arrived.'"
Alison groaned. "I still think we're taking it a little far, Celine. It's too early for me to be all out there."
"Too early? My dear, you have sold millions of copies of your novel in just, what, two years? That's a huge success and you need to start putting yourself out there. Besides, if you play your cards right, you'll get movie industries all lined up begging for an adaptation of your latest novel into a movie."
"Maybe," Alison said, still not buying Celine's idea, "still, we should take things slow--"
"--you're talking too much. Big smile, honey, less teeth. Do you not know what sexy means? Jeez, you're half my age and even I've still got it than you!" Celine was saying when Alison's personal assistant, Mira came by to give her the phone again.
"Would you stop this? We're in the middle of something here!" Celine rolled her eyes at Mira.
"It's okay, lemme see." Alison was glad for a break as she went to one corner with Mira.
"It's that man and his wife, the one from Cambridge family. He wants to speak with you and he's angry you won't sell him the house. The agent wanted to know if she should hang up now or maybe you'll speak to Mr Cambridge?" Mira explained.
Alison heaved in a deep sigh. It had been three years since she last heard from Brad, and now he was back. "There's no way I'm selling the house to him." She was determined in her mind. "Give me the damn phone. I'm not afraid of him."
The voice from over there was angry, rage filling his words like if he had his chance, he would shoot her straight up for disrespecting him.
"You still are the same horrible angry piece of s**t, aren't you?" Alison said, calming this man down immediately.
"Hey, wh--who the hell are you? Why would you speak to me in this manner!" He yelled out.
"Will you keep your mouth shut already? I am not selling the house to you, Brad. So why don't you grab your little mistress and leave right now while I'm still being nice." Alison made sure her tone was a solid one and was quite impressed with her confidence. Hopefully it would be the same when she was standing face to face with him when he glared at her with those intimidating eyes.
"Wait wait, hold on a minute. Why are you sounding so familiar?...Alison?" Brad pronounced slowly, and Alison could imagine the shock resting on his face now. "Alison, is that you? H--how??"
