Mystic Moonlight Ponds

After greets Pall, Gale continue with his work. He go to a nearby village to exchange some herbs. While he can't use any magic, Gale likes to learn about medicine and pills. Although now there's a magic healing, but most people also like to bring some medicine and pills because it's more convenient when travelling and fighting others.

"Don't you just come here a few days ago?" ask Khai, the accountant in the herbs shop.

"Yeah, but I come to find the Fish Purple Grass," Gale replied.

"As far as I know, in your village head mansion should have that thing. Why don't you ask the village head?"

Gale shook his head.

"I can't. This time I need many of them so I can't ask the village head. Those thing are all planted near the Mystic Moonlight Ponds. So it's easier for people to feed the head village favourite fish."

"What are you going to do with so many Fish Purple Grass? People only use it to feed a fish."

"Naturally, I have my own methods to use them. After it done, I will give it some to you."

"Is it a good thing?"

"It's extremely beneficial to tempering physical body."

"Really?" Khai ask excitedly.

Gale nod seriously.

"Then I have to thank you. Wait a moment, I will get it as much as you want," he said as he go to the storeroom. After everything is settled, Gale go straight to his residence.

He take out many other herbs and a furnace. This furnace doesn't need any magic to activate it as it already have a magic instructor in it. Basically, the price of those magic furnace with magic and without magic is incomparable. Because you need to fuse your magic when using the furnace without magic while the furnace with magic can use even by someone who cannot use magic.

Even the alchemist usually need to save their magic and this furnace is truly convenience for them. Gale himself couldn't afford to buy such a thing. So this was given by the village head. Which also made Gale truly grateful towards him.

By the time he finished refining pills, it's already evening. Gale still need to do his work. He must bring the fish that had been caught by the villagers. The fish that have a weight 300 pounds being carried behind his back alone and he need to bring it back to the village which is at feet of the mountain.

To other people, that kind of job is just like being beaten by someone to the death. But to Gale, it's like a training to temper one's body. Because he can't use any magic, he needs to have other abilities to protect himself. The most suitable abilities for ordinary people like him is to temper his physical body.

By the time he reached the village, it's already night. Gale was going back to his residence and took a bath. After that, he put on his clothes and cleaned the floor so he can sleep without being bitten by the insects. Before he sleeps, he suddenly remembered the village head had asked him to feed the fish.

Gale didn't like to delay his job so he go to the Mystic Moonlight Ponds. Actually, this place is quite famous because there's a saying that a dragon had actually died there. But there's no one could confirm it because that ponds is truly too mysterious. Anyone who go down there would suddenly disappear.

In the middle of the night, Gale pluck the Fish Purple Grasses to feed the fish. A moment later, he attract by something's glowing comes from the pond. It turns out to be the moonlight that makes it glow and the reflection of the moon fill all the corner of the ponds.

Only now Gale knows why it called Mystic Moonlight Ponds. Because along with the glows, there's a mystery energy fluctuations coming from it. It's truly mysterious.

As Gale keep staring at it, the reflection of the moon becomes more illusory and the water starts spinning so fast. A moment later, it has become a vortex that sucks everything. Gale was so shocked and try to run away but he got sucked by the vortex in the end.

An hour later, he opens his eyes and shocked to know that he is actually in underwater. He checked himself and found that he is find. It's all thanks to the necklace that his parents gave him a long time ago. Because of this, he didn't get drowned and still alive.

Gale starts checking his surroundings and shocked again by how deep and wide this ponds is. No wonder the village head's favourite fish can become so big. He didn't have any intention to go up to the surface instead he go down deeper. By relying on the artifact he had, there shouldn't be any problems.

As he diving deeper, he found a cave. The cave is so big as if there's a giant monster living in there. Gale hesitate whether he should go in or not. Then he decided to go in because from the looks of it, there's no monster that live in this pond. He didn't find any fish other than the fish that like to play with the village head's favourite fish.

When he passed by the entrance of the cave, there seems to be a barrier. But the barrier didn't obstruct him from entering. Instead, it seems to obstruct the water. Making him be able to walk like a normal. The cave is truly dark and he couldn't see anything.

The necklace fluctuate for a moment before releasing the green light. The cave have become much brighter. Gale walk for 200 metres ahead before he stopped and looked up. What's in front of him truly makes him shocked to the extreme!
