When I woke up hours later, there was an empty spot beside me, I jumped out of bed hurrying over to the window, flinging the curtains aside, I gasped in surprise seeing that it was already nighttime, the full moon shining brightly above and I stared at it for few seconds, I was too stunned to react, all I wanted was a quick nap! Now I realized, I shouldn't have taken that nap at all.
Closing back the curtains, I hurried out of the room in search of Jet, if he wasn't in the room then he must surely be in his study, my heartbeat picked up in a panic when I found it empty, I tugged at my hair in frustration not believing I had overslept.
After searching all the rooms in his quarters and yet no sign of him, I decided to check in with Hunter in case he happens to be with him. I spotted
