Rather than the furry flesh I was clutching onto, I became conscious of the fact that I was suddenly wrapped up in an intimate embrace. No idea of how long I sat on the floor hugging his wolf form until I became aware he had shifted into a human, my thoughts had drifted far away from my body.
"Are you dozing on me?" He chuckled, hauling me slightly away from the embrace enough for him to look at me. His mood turned serious. "You do not need to thank me," he said getting up from the floor, my mouth dropped open in shock.
"Jet..." I whispered barely able to get the words I struggled to say out loud. My throat went dry as I gaped at him, I swallowed hard wishing my throat would be wet enough for words to elude me, I was blushing so hard and he didn't even seem to notice my dilemma.
