Felix carefully advanced with Silitsia's burden. The other members of the group followed Felix's slow but steady pace. Darkness was slowly falling, and the air was growing colder. Weary but determined, Felix continued on, committed to protecting Silitsia and helping her as best he could.
Finally, the group reached a more open area of the forest, and Felix gently lowered Silitsia to the ground. Silitsia fell asleep on Felix's back, while the other members quickly moved to attend to their tasks. Rodrigo found a spot nearby and began building a fire. Using his magic, he carefully arranged the fire's surroundings and quickly created a fire pile. The fire's warm light illuminated the surrounding darkness, providing a modicum of safety.
Andres had gone hunting for food. He stalked the depths of the forest, moving silently and cautiously. Using his skills and knowledge, he tried to catch suitable prey. Hunting in the dark tested his abilities, but his experience and agility enabled him to overcome the challenge.
Alessandra wandered around in search of water. She ventured deeper into the forest, searching for sources. Finding water in the dark and cold could be difficult, but Alessandra's natural abilities made it easy. Using her magic to harness the forest's natural resources, she found a clean water source. Once the water bottles and containers were filled, Alessandra quickly returned and prepared water for the group.
Silitsia finally opened her eyes after a long sleep. She saw that the sky had darkened and the glow of the fire had illuminated the surroundings. Slowly, she came to, raised her head, and noticed Rodrigo sitting by the fire, Alessandra carrying water, and Andres still hadn't returned.
“Hello,” she whispered, still tired but full of hope. “When did we get here?”
Rodrigo approached Silitsia. “It’s good that you opened your eyes. Is everything okay with you?” he asked with a concerned expression.
“Yeah… I’m a little tired, but I can bear it,” Silitsia said, still lying comfortably on Felix’s back. “Thank you… for all of you.”
Alessandra placed the water near Silitsia and said in a gentle tone, "You need to drink water. The most important thing right now is to help your body heal."
Sit by the fire, feeling somewhat comforted by the warmth, Silitsia closed her eyes and took a deep breath. The chill in the air and the pain of fatigue were slowly fading. Felix bent his head slightly, trying to get closer to Silitsia, as if fulfilling his protective role.
While Rodrigo tried to cook something over the fire, Alessandra kept a watchful eye on Silitsia and Felix. As the night wore on, the rest of the group gathered together and enjoyed a small moment of relaxation. Everyone's thoughts were filled with the dangerous events they had experienced and the new challenges they might face.
focused on the difficulties.
Throughout the night, a silent harmony had settled among the group. When Andres returned from hunting, he brought food and helped prepare a meal for the group. “We will continue with our thoughts; we should be back together by morning,” he said, tired but satisfied.
After dinner, Silitsia, despite her exhaustion, couldn't fall asleep deeply. The horrific events and trauma she'd endured had exacerbated her insomnia. She quietly rose in the darkness and began wandering a short distance outside the campsite, away from her friends. As she walked slowly, thoughts gnawed at her.
Suddenly he felt a chill behind him and as he turned to look, he saw a silhouette in the darkness.
Andres appeared before Silitsia in the darkness. “Couldn’t sleep, little princess? Of course, it felt good to sleep along the way,” he said, his voice soft and understanding evident.
“It’s not the road that keeps me awake, it’s the thoughts,” Silitsia said, the sadness evident in her voice.
"Look, just a few days ago, I was the sole princess of the kingdom and heir to the throne. Now I'm called cursed blood, and most of my relatives want to kill me. No one wants me, Andres."
Andres looked into Silitsia's eyes and said sincerely, "I want you, Silitsia. I mean, I'm with you. You're not alone." His eyes found a deep peace in Silitsia's blue eyes. A moment of silence reigned between the two. Andres was captivated by Silitsia's beauty, and the distance between them narrowed. His eyes met Silitsia's, their lips almost touching.
At that very moment, Rodrigo's voice came from the campsite. "Oh my god, what are you doing here?" he said, startled. He immediately noticed the distance between Andres and Silitsia. Andres lifted one of his wings to try and hide Silitsia.
“Ahh, you romantics! What were you doing here?” Rodrigo laughed, but his tone was quite sarcastic. Leaning on Andres’s wing, he said, “I’ve got you!”
Andres, angered by Rodrigo's words, suddenly pulled back his wing, causing Rodrigo to fall to the ground. Andres's eyes never left Silitsia's as she fled from Rodrigo. Rodrigo,
He was slightly shaken by the impact of the fall, but he recovered quickly and faced the situation with a smile.
