The light coming from the lamp on the bedside table was enough to allow me to see some things inside, though it was still a bit dim around. But with the help of that light, I still immediately noticed a pale white color thing on the floor at the other side of the sliding door, going to my kitchen.   The light was not on at that part of my apartment, so I could not tell right away what was the thing lying there.
