My legs trembled in each step I took away from Nishimoto. They were trembling because of mixed emotions that were simultaneously rushing in me – anger, disappointment, fear, and a little sadness. I could not still wrap my head around what just happened, and no matter how many times I tried to think about it, it felt so unreal to me.
