I froze from where I stood, a little surprised at what he said. Many people had complimented my eyes because of its color but it was the first time that someone compared it to something as beautiful as the Autumn Season.   Among the four seasons in Japan, I loved the Autumn Season the most. The golden brown color of the leaves scattered on the ground and the sight of the leaves falling from the trees gave a different sense of ‘beginning’ to me.   If the Spring Season represents ‘new beginnings,’ for me, Autumn Season represents a peaceful ending. It was like telling me that whatever I had in the past was already done and finished.
