A deafening silence echoed in my ears as darkness surrounded me. I could not see nor hear anything around me, not giving me any hint to know where I was and what was happening to me. All that I was aware of was my body felt so cold and numb from my toes up to my head, making me unable to move even an inch or even lift a finger.
