My whole body ached as the man forcefully dragged me into the hallway while tightly squeezing me within his arms. I did not know where we were going, but he carried me towards the emergency exit of the building. But as soon as we entered there, my body instantly froze when darkness loomed over me and covered my vision.
W-what? The lights…why the lights are off here? I frighteningly thought to myself as I tried to look around. It was so dark inside and, I could not see any single thing in there.
