“Jennet!” “JPanic clawed through Tam. Her scream still echoed in his ears as he was plunged into a heavy mist. A moment later, he stood alone on a flat plain, silken wisps of grey surrounding him in all directions. “Jennet!” he called again. He turned in a circle, straining to see something. Anything. The light lay tranquil and heavy about him. His pulse beat loudly, like a broken clock in a place time didn’t exist. “Jennet?” This time it came out a whisper.
