Adrian's POV I stood on the pavement for longer than I needed to. Then I went upstairs and called Marcus, not because I had anything to tell him but because I needed to do something with my hands and calling Marcus was productive. He picked up on the second ring. "How was dinner?" "Good." A pause. "That's it?" "That's it." I set my keys on the counter. "The Singapore documentation — did Chen confirm receipt from the incoming team?" "Adrian." "Yes or no."
