Calla watched Rico's grin spread wider, his hand on her jaw pressing deeper. She finally reacted.
Her hands left her sides, clawing at his fingers on her jaw.
That only made him more furious—a predator enjoys the struggles of their prey. He charged forward with her, pushing her violently to the wall and she winced in pain as her back collided with the hard wall. The blanket that gave her some warmth was already lying on the cold floor, leaving her naked... and afraid.
