*Nora's POV* The morning sun filtered through the curtains of our bedroom, casting long shadows across the floor, but it brought no warmth to the cold atmosphere that had settled over our home like a heavy blanket. I had barely slept, tossing and turning as Collins' confession replayed in my mind over and over again. From the way Collins moved stiffly beside me when he finally stirred, I could tell he hadn't gotten much rest either.
