Lunch was done and the girls were ready to proceed with the rest of the day.
“I will be skipping my last class for today as I have got too much on my plate.” Irene suddenly announced.
Genova was surprised. "I thought you would accompany me to the hotel and help me prepare for the interview. I mean… that was the initial plan, right?”
“Yes! It was until I received a message earlier to begin an early shift,” Irene responded curtly. "I am sorry, Gen, but you will have to make it there on your own. Almost every taxi around knows the location. The Fortier Hotel—”
“No need! I will bring her,” Ashly cut in sharply. "It is what I should do, after all, I had recommended her this job. And I am not about to leave her hanging right when she’s in desperate need of someone’s guidance.”
