CHAPTER 6Colin’s sulks, refreshed by a good night’s rest, were nursed by him during the whole of Sunday. His sister Lydia, who had never seen him in such a condition before, was almost alarmed. As he managed to eat an excellent breakfast and a very large lunch she was not concerned for his bodily health and had no desire to take his temperature, but something was evidently wrong. So when Colin had gone down to pay his usual weekend call on Nanny Twicker, she consulted Noel about it.
