Confused synch, that's the definition of what's going on between Romero and I right now. No one is ready to take the lead, our lips just pause but stay together. No one wants to be the one to make the first move cause I know I'll regret it if I did.
Suddenly, there's a loud thunder strike and we both jerk apart in shock, in my confused state, I get thrown over the bed and since I was clinging to the sheets, Romero falls with me and soon enough, we fall to the ground with a large thud.
"Aarh" I exclaim as my back hits the ground, the only thing that help my bones was the expensive rug in the floor. Romero barely makes a sound as he tries to untangle himself.
"This is so ridiculous" i murmur to myself as I finally let myself free from the mess. Without looking at Romero, I grab the sheets
