"Isabella, long time no see," Bella said, smiling warmly. She hadn't expected to run into Isabella at the hospital, but she greeted her cheerfully.
However, Isabella's expression quickly turned from surprise to anger. If not for this unexpected meeting, she wouldn't have known that Bella had returned to the country. What upset her even more was seeing Bella with Ethan.
She stormed up to Ethan and Bella, pointed accusingly at Ethan, and yelled at Bella, "Why are you with him?!"
Bella slightly furrowed her brow and explained, "I just got back yesterday, and I heard his mother was ill. We're all friends; what's wrong with visiting a friend's mother?"
"Everything is wrong!" Isabella's eyes were red with emotion, her voice thick with defiance. "I'm your friend. You met Ethan through me!"
