1. Mate

Running in the forest near my house is my everyday routine, but their are times I encounter hunters they have tried to capture me to no avail. I am the fastest in my pack not because I'm the alpha, my wolf is a rare kind. she is purely black with no other colors we have the same eye color except hers is natural dark purple and my mine is natural purple, I got her on my tenth birthday which was way to early cause most get their wolf at 16 and shift at 18 but it was different for I got her the same day and shifted the same day. my family kept it a secret until I was 18. My wolf is the biggest you will ever see for a she wolf an aura that can scare anyone that's why I named her Stormi. My wolf and I are alike in so many things our opinions to each other matter most we give each other attention when required. she has a sense of humor she makes me laugh and keep me happy when I'm sad in most occasion definitely she is my wolf.

I'm running at a slow pace so the hunters can catch up Stormy likes to play with them. she looks around her before she starts to run again. " Stormy we need to go or else we'll be late for work."

she runs a bit fast but not fast we hear nothing just the chirping of birds is heard and the swaying of trees. " A boss is never late Elina." I shift back with my clothes still intact, a gift I received when turned 20 years. even I was shocked at first but I embraced it cause it was a rare thing for a wolf to do. I jump the offence of my house and enter through the back door. it's one of my houses in the city and because it's near the forest I come here on weekends and today is Monday I have to go back my penthouse.

I shower and get dressed in my working suit put my hair in a mess bun and leave some strands loose.

I do make up that is light I like natural stuffs especially on my body. I grab my bag and my car keys.

I arrive in no time at the office, the guards takes the car to park and I enter the building. I receive greetings from the employees I give them no heed and enter the elevator. everyone say am cold, ruthless and a mean woman and I don't care yet they still work here, I don't have time for a social life. at 24 I have never even had my first kiss and I'm still a virgin not that I care and everyone don't know except a few people like my beta Daniel, my gama Lucy and my mother. my father thinks am not a virgin because he saw me Daniel having a sleep over and he thought something happen. I'm getting old yet I have not find my mate it's very frustrating I have gone to so many packs looking for my mate and so many countries just to come back alone every time. since I wake up this morning or rather not so that morning because it was still dark around one in the morning Stormy had this nasty thought that something is going to happen today, she told me it was not bad she just felt restless and an easy all morning when we went for run she felt so happy but as soon as we got back she retreated back and gave me full control which is very weird. I get out of the elevator that has a very sweet smell of roses and strawberries but it's very faint who ever was in their have a sweet smell. I hear Stormy sigh in content as if she agrees with me.

"are sure you are okay." I ask her.

" yeah am okay just a bit tired from all the running." hmmm I agree it's tiring but it's very rare for us to feel tired after running but I let it slide. The smell of roses and strawberries gets strong the closer I get to my office. some employees greets me and I still ignore them. " Elina I have find the replacement for the last secretary he is inside." I snap out of the trance and look at him. " A he Glu why a man." okay am not complaining I think my mind is jumbled and why wouldn't I want a change I mean I just fired a woman last week she thought we can be in the same category and her dressing code was inappropriate not to forget she was rude and lazy. My secretary's office is linked to mine. " Am sorry Elina I thought you wouldn't mind that he was a guy since you didn't give a preference." right I never did and it is not his fault.

" you know what let it be I will see if I can work with him I just need to look at his files." I say to him and enter the office. Stormy who was chilling at the back of my mind stands up a bit abrupt making my head aches. The smell becomes strong and I feel a bit dizzy.

Glu introduce me to my new secretary but I'm lost staring at him with Stormy screaming in my heard a word I never thought I would hear so soon after looking for him all these years. MATE.

I look at him from head to toes, he has dark short hair that is shaved on the side, blue eyes, pink lips and a well defined body, I think he work out a lot. his lips move like he talking something and my mind snap to reality I have to remind myself that I am in a human world and they would never understand.

" finally we find him and he is so gorgeous Elina finally our mate is here." Stormy said excited. I breath a sigh of relief and greets him before going inside my office. I had a feeling that my mate was different and here is the proof he is human my human.
