2. Relationship

A human mate for an alpha not bad moon goddess. I exhale shapely feeling better, I must say I handled it very well the emotions and feelings were very strong I can't believe I have found him. after I collect myself better I put my bag on the table and seat down on my chair, my office is very organized nothing out of place every folder is in place my working table has less stuffs just a computer, a paper rack, pens and pencils in cup and two receiving chairs opposite mine in front. a big couch and a coffee table a mini fridge and my own bathroom at the corner. His smell still lingers on my nose making me relax more in my seat. the files that I will be using today are neatly arranged on the table including his files that is on top of the files.

I read through it. his name is Storm Houghton , has one sister and is in a relationship I pause at it making my heart ache. honestly I never thought about it. " he is in a relationship Stormy." I say to her and she whimpers in my head but then she gets angry. " I will rip who ever has dared to touch my mate." she say " I don't think that will make him like us Stormy let's not forget he is human and probably doesn't know about werewolves." I tell her, she seems to be thinking about. " then what are we going to do Elina I don't want to lose mate."

" me neither Stormy, I don't want to lose him, but what if they are serious and he wants to marry her then what? we can't be an obstacle in their relationship and if they get decide to get married we just have to step down." I say to her in the calmest voice I can I know she sees were I'm going with this. " at least mate and I have the same name." I chuckle at her words and she laughs with me. " yeah you and him have the same name." even though we both feel sad and literally our mood is bad now we continue with work. I put his file on the drawer and start working on other stuff with a solemn look. I am known as a woman who does not play around and in all seriousness I don't play when it comes to work I keep it balanced, where you'll find lots of paperwork on others table with mine I always make sure I leave no work undone. as the boss I have a lot of paperwork to do so I'm never late for work I'm always on time so I expect the same with my employees. I review the first folder that requires my signature and I realize I don't have my morning coffee on the table before I can call I hear the knock on the door. " come in."

the moment the door opens his scent hits me full force I manage not to groan and hold back a moan that almost escape my lips. he close the door behind him and place the coffee on the table with my eyes following his every movement. " Am sorry for bringing your coffee late Elina." Stormy purrs in my head and I cross my legs as I feel myself getting wet with just his voice damn the mate bond I will be dying slowly but surely soon.

" it's okay Storm, and the schedule for today." I ask him before I lose myself .

" I sent it to you through the email this morning." oh must have slipped my mind then I haven't even checked my mails since morning. " oh yeah thanks Storm I'll see it." I sip my coffee and moan the taste just the way I like it I put it down the cup and look at Storm who has a slight brush on his cheek. cute.

" uhm. I came to also remind you that the conference room is ready for your meeting." I look at him confused. " The meeting with the new clients " I sigh remembering.

" Ah sure, are the clients already here." he nods his head.

After a very tiring, awesome and devastating day. I shower and put on my pajamas, I didn't even get to finish work today which was a first day for me anyway their is always a first day for everything I grab my laptop and look through emails, see I didn't even have time to check my mails his scent was making me lose my mind I felt horny everytime I was near him I was even noticing small details about him. My only concern is the heat I know it will come soon, since I'm an alpha the mate bond will become strong in some days and the heat will come in less weeks which his girlfriend can't help if I was a no rank wolf I would have given it about two months but I'm an alpha it will come soon.

" Maybe we should tell him Stormy." I tell her " And then what, humans have a very different way of taking the news, remember auntie Marie past out when she learned that uncle Ken was a wolf and it didn't go well for them for days." yeah she almost rejected him if not for the heat that hit her like tornado it was a rollercoaster for them and she had to learn new stuffs. A mate is like the other half of a wolf we only becomes complete if we mate and mark our mate. long time ago it was forbidden for a wolf to have human mate but now it's not forbidden any more it's completely up to the wolf. And I my case if he feels the mate bond and choose to ignore it I will have to reject him and am not even sure I will have a second chance which is rare nowadays. So yeah I understand what she is saying he may react differently and chose never to talk to me. Stormy whimpers in my head by thought. " we just need to cross our fingers Stormy." she sigh and retreat to the back of my mind. I check the mails and finish off some work that I left undone. I have been looking forward to a day I will finally find him or he finds me but in my case I found him. I always thought I will take him to my pack and show him to my family and my pack but it came crushing down since I started having enemies from the human world and rogues attacking my pack, if they even get a whiff of me having a mate or a lover they will hunt him down they will do anything to have him in their grasp.

" I need to keep you a secret at least for now that you have a lover but I will change our relationship in no time." with that I put laptop away and sleeps dreaming about his beautiful blue eyes my human mate.
