Daniel's POV:
The talk went smoothly, or I wish, but how can it be after all we and our mother did to her and her daughter?
Her worry for her daughter was anticipated and warranted, but I can only hope she accepts our explanation, and would consider giving her daughter back.
We are losing it without her, we don't even feel like ourselves anymore, just four walking bodies while all our souls are with her, with our mate.
She is our keeper, our glue to keep it together and keep us in line, given to us by the moon goddess to protect and care for, with our lives, but our stupidity has cost us everything. And I have the majority of the guilt.
The guilt for my actions towards my mate is eating me out, I swear I never wished to hurt her, but turns out, I'm the one who did the major part of it
