“What do you think you’re doing?” I asked Stein slowly, observing that the card he was holding was a royal black card.
“His Majesty wanted to foot the bill for the expenses in apology for not being in person.” Stein said.
I raised an unamused brow. “In apology? Is that the word he used?”
Stein nodded and said without hesitation, “His exact words.”
“Oh, really?” I c****d my head to one side. And Stein nodded again.
Alena and Jake quietly stood by the side, watching the exchange.
“If that is the case, then I think I’ll do a little more shopping.” I said with a smile, then walked back into the area I just left.
