Astoria Pov The next few days passed slowly. I kept to myself mostly, walking around the pack house with Pup following right behind me like a shadow. The place was too quiet sometimes — even the maids whispered like they were afraid of their own voices. I was sitting in the lounge when one of the servants came rushing in, holding a few letters. “Delivery for Alpha Raiden,” she said, breathless. Raiden wasn’t around, so she placed them on the small table. “Can you help me sort them, Luna?” “Sure,” I typed, flipping through the envelopes.
