Roman's POV
"Alpha, I just got intel on the treaty between the Star Moon Pack and the Moon Peak Pack," Aaron reported as I settled into my seat.
I stretched feeling my muscles stiff and aching. I had quite a poor sleep the night before so I wasn't surprised when I woke up this morning to an aching body.
And of course, who else would be the cause of my lack of sleep?
I couldn't help but wonder what she was doing. She must be awake by now. I couldn't help but imagine how she would react to waking up in a strange room. A small sigh appeared at the edge of my lips at the thought.
"Sir?" I heard Aaron call out again and I immediately jerked out of my thoughts and looked at him.
It turned out I had zoned out on him while he was talking and he had been waiting for my reply for quite long
