"Lena, why did you take my ring?" she accused.
There was a moment of stifling silence afterward and all of them were just as equally stunned.
Amber whipped her head toward Lena and she could see how pale her friend's face had become. She seemed to be just as puzzled as she was.
"What do you mean?" Amber asked.
Serena took in their expressions, reveling in each of their reactions. She looked at Amber and a small teensy smile appeared at the edge of her lips as she snidely remarked, "Your friend took my ring."
"I didn't," Lena objected sharply.
Serena sighed looking helpless. She put on an ingratiating smile as she looked at her brothers. "You know I'm not the type to just accuse someone without proof. Moreover, she is Nathan's mate and as his friend, I ought to worry for him."
