I was sitting idly by the window of my room and gazing at the people that strode around the gardens in the pack when Lena stumbled in. She had moved into her mate's quarters the day before and of course, as usual, tried to persuade me into moving in with her.
I objected not wanting to be a lightbulb and she had tried to pull a fast one on me by announcing that she wouldn't go unless I did but I didn't fall for it. And she eventually had to go with Nathan who was pleased by my decision.
She strode into the room and immediately she reached me, she wrapped her arms around me in a hug. I was a bit taken aback but I soon relaxed into the warm hug.
Lena had moved towards the alphas' quarters and wasn't present earlier so it was not surprising that she had only just heard about what happened
