I immediately turned upon hearing that voice and looked beside me, my gaze landing on a tall male figure. He didn't seem familiar and I had never met him before. Since I'd never seen him before, I simply turned my head away and acted as though I didn't see him there. To my surprise, he leaned on the counter beside me and chuckled, "So defensive."
